We had every intention of hiking around this beautiful park. However, on arrival we were met with thunderstorms that last the entirety of our stay. We hope to make it back one day and actually experience the state park better.
RV drivers beware, the trip up into the hills is treacherous, however once you make it up the park is worth it.
